Tier Nametags [Tier Tagger]
by mxngo7
Tier Nametags shows a player's tierlist rank above their name in game, with lookups, leaderboards and gamemode switching for Fabric players.
What it does
Players see tierlist statistics directly in the game, so a tier can be read without leaving the world. Lookup works for any player: the tier is shown on their nametag, and a quick search opens the full tierlist profile with the player's tier test history. Multiple tierlists are supported, and each gamemode can be switched to view its own stats.
The base command is tiernametags, with the short form tn. Its subcommands open the built-in leaderboard screen, show a player's profile, list their test history and change the selected gamemode. The appearance of the tags is customisable, and the screens are built to stay uncluttered. The mod is Client-side only, so only the client needs it, and servers run without it. It requires Fabric and is published as a Fabric file across 12 release versions, with 1.0.5 for 1.21.11 as the latest. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Nametag tier display
A player's tier appears above their name, so the rank is visible while playing alongside them.
Multiple tierlists
The tags work with more than one tierlist, and the selected one can be changed to match the server being played.
Built-in leaderboards
A leaderboard screen lists the ranking of players, opened with a tiernametags subcommand.
Gamemode switching
A gamemode can be selected to view the stats for that mode only, instead of the combined statistics.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who follow tierlist rankings on multiplayer servers and want the ranks visible in game. Single-player players can use it as well, since the client alone runs the mod.
