The Secret Doors

by navarayuk

The Secret Doors adds doors, trapdoors, buttons and pressure plates made from stone, so builders can hide rooms and bases inside a normal world.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

Each block is a stone variant of a vanilla item, so a hidden entrance can look like the surrounding wall until a player finds it. The recipes follow the vanilla counterparts, and a trapdoor is made from a cobblestone base in the same way the vanilla trapdoor is made, with the wall recipes reusing the same pattern.

The mod is a simple addition to the base game and is used in modpacks. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files exist for NeoForge only, across four game versions: 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.8 and 26.1.2, with 1.0.4.4 for 26.1.2 as the latest file, published 2026-10-06. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Updates arrive slowly, because new blocks are added only when they fit the existing set. The author notes that Forge and Fabric builds are not planned, and that future releases after Minecraft 1.20.1 are NeoForge only.

Key features

  1. Stone doors and trapdoors

Stone doors and trapdoors match the look of the surrounding stone walls, which helps hide entrances.

  2. Hidden buttons and plates

Stone buttons and pressure plates can open hidden passages without showing a visible switch.

  3. Vanilla-style recipes

Each block is crafted with a pattern taken from its vanilla counterpart, so the recipes match the base game.

  4. Pressure plates and more

Beyond doors and trapdoors, the mod adds a few other basic blocks that fit the same stone set.
