The MC Movie is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 that brings two new weapons, a battle axe and a spear, along with a boss and a set of magical items.
What it does
The addition is small: two melee weapons, a battle axe and a spear, along with one boss fight and a handful of magic-themed items inspired by the film. The staff named Magolsha shoots exploding fireballs. It requires Better Combat, Cloth Config API and GeckoLib, which must be installed alongside it. Installation goes into the mods folder of the .minecraft directory, or through the Modrinth app by creating an instance and adding the required mods.
Files exist for Forge only and target 1.20.1, with 1.0.3 as the latest file from 2025-09-13. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
