The Block Box
by vectorwing
With The Block Box installed, players can draw from a large set of themed blocks, furniture, decorations and light sources when a build calls for more than vanilla offers.
What it does
The Block Box extends the block palette of Minecraft across collection building blocks, furniture, decorations, light sources and themed sets. Its name describes its purpose: a box full of blocks for building. The author describes it as a way to cover themes and uses that existing blocks do not address well, such as an opulent mansion built with gold or an industrial complex built with iron and copper, along with seating, lanterns and other fixtures. The mod does not generate structures or change terrain on its own, so new blocks appear only where a player places them.
The mod runs on NeoForge, with files for 1.21.1 and 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2. Its latest NeoForge file is 0.1.3 for 26.1.2, published on 2026-05-14, and the mod was first published on 2025-02-14. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is covered by a custom license and is not open source, though public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.

Use cases
