TFC Mantle Mountains enlarges TerraFirmaCraft mountains in both height and width, and a config file sets how far the scale goes.
What it does
Mountains generated by TerraFirmaCraft become larger on both the vertical and horizontal axes. A config file holds the scale values, and the author advises keeping vertical scale at or below 4.0, since higher values look out of place, and above 6.0 the peaks are cut off by the world height limit. World height is raised to 1024 to make room for the bigger mountains.
The mod changes only newly generated terrain, so existing worlds keep their current mountains. Server owners who want to keep a specific mountain can save the seed and adjust the Mantle config values to check it again. An optional setting forces snow-capped peaks on mountains regardless of the surrounding climate; it is off by default. The mod was created for the upcoming Mantle modpack.
Environment: the mod runs on the server alone. Players join without installing it. It is released under the MIT License, and its source code is public. Files target Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and TerraFirmaCraft is required.
