TeamWork

by AtiredDev

Hostile mobs in TeamWork stop acting alone: illagers, zombies, piglins, creepers and witches each gain an interaction with their neighbors, and TeamWork is a Fabric mod that adds them.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21.1 – 1.21.8

What it does

TeamWork changes how hostile mobs behave around each other. Infected illagers do not use the same buffs as before, and Vindicators gain strength. Ravagers move faster. Zombified Piglins stack on top of one another to climb when a player is too high above them, and each extra piglin in the group adds climbing power. Evokers place a curse on other illagers, marked by green circle eyes, which causes a spiral of Evoker Jaws to appear when the cursed illager dies. Breezes adjust their movement arrows toward a target, though the speed of that aim correction is limited.

Hostile mobs flee from lit creepers, and creepers hold their fuse when hostile mobs stand extremely close to them. Witches grant illager-specific buffs in place of the instant health and regeneration they normally give. Zombie-type mobs can ride an animal such as a cow, sheep or pig when the player is far away or over water, and the speed boost from that ride decreases over time and ends once the zombie dismounts. Animals gain a decrementing speed boost within 16 blocks. TeamWork requires Fabric API, and it is built for Fabric on 1.21.1 – 1.21.8 under the MIT License, but it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Illager coordination

Evokers curse nearby illagers, and cursed illagers summon a spiral of Evoker Jaws when they die.

  2. Piglin stacking

Zombified Piglins pillar up to reach a player who is too far above them, and more piglins make the climb stronger.

  3. Creeper and mob reactions

Hostile mobs flee lit creepers, and creepers hold their fuse when hostile mobs crowd close to them.

  4. Mounted zombies

Zombie-type mobs ride cows, sheep or pigs to reach a player far away or over a gap, and the boost fades as the ride continues.

What the author says

Zombified Piglins will now pillar up eachother if you're too far from them vertically. The more Zombified Piglins there are, the stronger the climbing power is.
