Tasty Vanilla | Food Mod
by Jaubert
With Tasty Vanilla installed, the food system gains more than 150 new items, eight crops and new bushes that players can find, farm and cook.
What it does
Tasty Vanilla adds a food and farming layer to the game: crops such as berries and grains, meats from more than 20 mobs, and recipes for breads, jams and pies. Seeds can be found around the world, in village houses, and from a Wandering Villager trade with farmers. Cooking uses the furnace, smoker and campfire, and the stonecutter and brewing stand receive new uses.
The mod is built to keep the look and crafting behavior of the base game, with textures and recipes that follow its style. Serene Seasons is supported, and the mod is a single jar that needs no other dependency. It works in single-player, on servers and in modpacks. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, for 14 release versions 1.21.1 – 26.3, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.
