Sunrise & Sunset Audio plays a rooster crow in the morning and a wolf howl in the evening, adding ambient sound to the day cycle.
What it does
The mod layers a rooster crowing at sunrise and a wolf howling at sunset onto the normal world sounds. Volume and playback options are adjustable, and a configurable key, bound by default to numpad 0, opens the options menu. Only the client needs it: players install it, and servers run without it. It is published for Forge across 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.20.2, and is not open source, released under All rights reserved.

Sunrise and sunset sounds

Adjustable audio
Volume control and other sound options can be changed in the options menu, opened by a key that is numpad 0 by default.
Underground silence
Sounds stop playing when the player is in a cave, so the effects do not carry underground.
