Stylish Battle Ranks
Stylish Battle Ranks grades combat in Minecraft 1.20.1 with a letter rank from D to SSS, and its battle music shifts as the rank changes.
What it does
Combat actions earn style points, and damage taken or repeated moves cost points, which can lower the rank. The rank ladder runs from D through C, B and S to SS and SSS. A HUD shows the current rank as a large animated letter, with popups that list each gain or loss and a battle result screen once a fight ends.
The music is tied to the rank. A metadata file maps each rank to a segment of a track, and the active segment changes in real time as the rank rises or falls. A segment only advances when the rank has been earned, so the track moves up or down with the rank and cannot run ahead of it. A fullscreen selector lets players pick a track for the fight.
Architectury API and Shadow Config are required dependencies. The mod is client-side only, so servers do not need it. Players can use themed music sets and custom battle soundtrack packs loaded from config folders and resource packs, without editing local config files. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1 and the 1.0-1.20.1 file as the latest release, under All rights reserved and not open source.
