Block Ban
Block Ban is a server-side world generation mod that swaps chosen blocks for others during standard generation, set up through its config.
What it does
Block Ban lets a server owner pick blocks that should not appear in newly generated terrain and choose a replacement for each one. Unwanted or repetitive ores, unneeded trees and other blocks can be filtered out while the world generates. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 released on 2025-08-16, and the code is licensed as All rights reserved.
