Stuck?

by adasjusk

Stuck? is a Fabric utility that gives players a command to escape from the bedrock layer, teleporting them to a safe spot above it.

FabricCreative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.01.21 – 26.2

What it does

Players who become trapped in the bedrock layer under the world can use the stuck command to teleport themselves out. The plugin works out a safe location above the bedrock layer and moves the player there, so the player does not have to wait for an admin.

Server admins set the height at which players are placed, and the settings are written to a generated config file. The mod is aimed at survival servers and any world where players can fall or be pushed below the playable area. It runs on Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur and Folia as a plugin.

The mod is published for Fabric only, across 16 release versions 1.21 – 26.2, with the latest Fabric file 9.0 for 26.2. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.

Use cases

Survival servers

Players who fall through the world floor can recover without staff involvement.

Admin-free recovery

Server owners can leave the recovery step to players rather than handling each case by hand.

Who it’s for: Server owners who run survival worlds on Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur or Folia, and admins who want players to recover from the bedrock layer on their own.

How it compares

Full comparison

RTPMod - Random Teleportation is server-side only and open source under the MIT License, for 1.21.11 – 26.1. Server Insight is client-side only and open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, for 1.21.11 – 26.2. Stuck? is not open source and runs as a server plugin, so it covers a narrower recovery task than these general teleport tools.
