What it does
The Medusa device petrifies whatever it targets, following the anime and manga idea of a high-tech tool that turns living things to stone. A petrified creature is effectively immortal and cannot move or communicate, though it stays aware of its surroundings for a brief period before the effect ends. Players who want to experiment with the device can install it on Forge 1.20.1. Both the server and every player need the mod, because the environment is client and server, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source.
