Stipple Focus
by marcelcotta
Stipple Focus adds a depth-of-field effect with autofocus and a subtle colour grade to the Fabric client.
What it does
The effect blurs the scene around the point of focus, and autofocus can follow the crosshair so the target stays sharp. A light colour grade adds gentle warm and cool separation with a soft vignette. It runs as a lightweight post-processing pass, and the author positions it as a restrained alternative to heavy shader packs. Iris and GLSL are required, and Fabric API must be installed alongside the mod.
Key features
Depth field with autofocus
Focus follows the crosshair, or can be set to a fixed mode, keeping the chosen subject sharp.
Subtle colour grade
A skylight-tinted warm and cool grade with a light vignette, applied without heavy shader work.
Standalone or paired effect
Installed on its own, it adds a soft, film-like sense of depth to the scene; combined with the Stipple resource pack, the result is a pointillist, oil-painting appearance.
