Stashlight
Stashlight is a client-side Fabric and Quilt mod that indexes containers as players open them, so a search can find items in chests, shulker boxes, barrels and bundles across the world.
What it does
When a player opens a container, Stashlight records what it holds, including items inside nested inventories such as shulker boxes and bundles. A search item then lets the player look up a stack across every indexed container, in any dimension the player has visited, and highlights matches in the world. Because the index is built on the client, a search only covers containers the player has actually opened.
The mod is a lightweight client-side addition for players of single-player and multiplayer servers who keep many storage locations. Installation needs Fabric API and oωo (owo-lib), and the mod is published for Fabric and Quilt only, on 26.1.2 with 1.0.0 as the latest file. Stashlight is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.

World-wide search
Results cover every indexed container, not only those in the loaded area around the player.

Enhanced previews
Result entries show a preview of the container contents before the player travels to it.
In-world highlighting
Matched containers are outlined in the world so their position is clear to see.
Cross-dimension tracking
Containers opened in other dimensions stay in the index and can be searched from anywhere.
