Star Wars Palladium
Palladium-based Minecraft 1.20.1 addon that adds lightsabers and Force powers, the first addon of its kind for that version.
What it does
Players build a lightsaber hilt from a kyber crystal, then place the crystal in the hilt to make the blade functional. Holding the lightsaber in the offhand, with a crystal in the main hand, lets the blade be used, and shift plus right click removes the crystal again. Shift plus right click while holding the lightsaber in the main hand turns the blade on or off. Required dependencies are KubeJS, Palladium and XXL Packets, and Better Combat is optional. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with 1.2.3 as the latest, and the code is under All rights reserved.

Kyber crystal hilts
A lightsaber becomes functional only after a kyber crystal is set into a crafted hilt.
Crystal insertion and removal
Crystals are moved into and out of the hilt with simple right click and shift plus right click actions.
Blade toggling
Shift plus right click with the lightsaber in the main hand switches the blade on or off.

RyDaCol's Star Wars Mod is Forge-only for 1.20.1, client and server, and is no longer updated. PBP Lightsabers runs on Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.8, while Jawa's Lightsaber targets Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1.
