StackPlus

by RoxyCoding

StackPlus raises the maximum stack size of items from the usual 64 to one billion, and it is a client mod for Fabric and NeoForge.

FabricNeoForgeClient required, server optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.21 – 26.3

What it does

Players who carry large quantities of one item can hold up to 1,000,000,000 of it in a single stack, where vanilla Minecraft caps stacks at 64. Huge counts stay readable in the interface through number formatting, which can be turned on or off in the in-game settings.

Per-item rules let a player or pack author set limits for individual items, and the settings screen offers exact values and presets. Damageable equipment such as tools, weapons, armor and shields stays unstackable by default, and the author has made it stackable as an option. The case maximum stack size keeps its default value of 1,000.

The mod is client required and server optional: players need it installed, while the server can run without it. Snapshot builds are published alongside release versions, and non-snapshot versions require Mod Menu. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 17 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3, and the code is released under the MIT License, so it is open source.

Key features

  1. One billion per stack

Stacks can hold up to 1,000,000,000 items, well beyond the vanilla limit of 64.

  2. Readable large counts

Number formatting keeps very large stack totals readable in the interface.

  3. Per-item rules

Limits can be set for individual items, with presets and exact values available in the settings.

  4. In-game configuration

A settings screen exposes the limits, presets, number formatting and per-item rules without editing files.

Use cases

Bulk storage

Players who collect large amounts of common materials can keep them in fewer slots and fewer containers.

Who it’s for: Players who want fewer slots filled by bulk materials, and server owners who want stack sizes tuned per item.

Questions

Does StackPlus need Mod Menu?

Mod Menu is required for non-snapshot versions. Snapshot builds are published alongside release versions.

Does the server need StackPlus?

No. The mod is needed in the player's game, and the server may leave it out.

Why are tools and armor not stackable by default?

Damageable equipment stays unstackable by default, and the author made stacking it an option rather than the default.

What the author says

Break Minecraft's usual stack limit and carry up to 1,000,000,000 items in a single stack. StackPlus also keeps huge counts readable, provides per-item rules, and puts every setting in an in-game configuration screen.
