StackableTools
by YoannDev90
StackableTools lets players stack tools, weapons, armor, elytra, potions and enchanted books up to 8 per slot, on Fabric with Fabric API.
What it does
Normally tools and armor stack to one per slot. StackableTools raises the limit for those items to 8, so a player can carry more of them in the inventory. Potions, enchanted books, weapons, armor and elytra are included in the change, while the mod only stacks items held in the inventory and not items equipped in armor slots.
The server and every player need the mod installed. Fabric API is required. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code, issue tracker and wiki public. Files exist for Fabric for game versions 1.20 – 26.1.2, and the latest file is for 26.1.2.
The author notes that a Forge version and a Paper version exist as separate projects, and that the mod keeps a fair balance by not allowing armor or elytra to be equipped as stacks. Serilum's Stack Refill is recommended as a companion for refilling stacks.
Key features
Stacks of eight
Tools, weapons, armor, elytra, potions and enchanted books can be carried eight to a slot.
Inventory-only stacking
Only items held in the inventory are stacked, so equipped armor and elytra keep their normal behavior.
Balanced limits
Armor and elytra cannot be equipped as stacks, which keeps combat and flight gear as it is in vanilla.
Refill companion
Serilum's Stack Refill is suggested as a separate mod for refilling stacks during play.

Potion and enchanted book storage
Brewers and enchanters can keep more potions and enchanted books in one slot each.
Who it’s for: Players who want larger item stacks for tools and gear, and server owners who run a Fabric server and want the change for everyone on it.
How it compares
Bigger Stacks Size is a Fabric mod for 26.2 with an All rights reserved license and no open source code, and it runs on client and server. Bundled is open source under the MIT License, runs on client and server for 1.20.1 – 26.3, and is built for bundles rather than tool stacks.

What the author says
You can now stack each tool by 8. It's not limited to tools: you can also stack potions, enchanted books, weapons, armor, and elytra Note: To maintain a fair balance, you cannot equip a stack of armor or elytra; you can only stack these items in your inventory. We recommend using Serilum's Stack Refill mod!
