Spider Spits Web adds a skill to spiders: when a spider attacks a mob that has the Weaving effect, a web is placed at the target's location, trapping it.

What it does

The mob spits a web onto a target after a charge time of 0.5 seconds, and the skill then goes on cooldown for 10 to 15 seconds. The web lands on the spot where the spider's attack targets a mob with the Weaving effect, so the trap is placed where the target stands rather than near the spider.

Spider Spits Web is a server-side mod: the server needs it, while players may add it on the client. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, plus a data pack variant, and covers game versions 1.21.4 – 1.21.11. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the project has public links to its source code and issue tracker.
