Arrow Ding│箭矢叮
by Special_TT
Arrow Ding plays a ding sound when a shot from a bow or crossbow strikes a mob, and it runs on servers.
What it does
When a player's arrow hits a mob, the mod plays a ding, and the same sound plays when a mob hits a target with an arrow it fired. The sound gives players audio feedback on hits from bows and crossbows, so a successful shot is clear during combat. Only the server needs the mod; players can join without installing it. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with game versions 1.21 – 1.21.11, under the MIT License, and the code is open source.
Key features
Hit sound on arrow impacts
An arrow that strikes a mob triggers a ding, giving clear confirmation of a successful shot.
Mob arrows included
Hits from arrows fired by mobs also play the sound, so the feedback applies to both sides of a fight.
Bows and crossbows
The sound covers arrows shot from both bows and crossbows, so either weapon gives the same feedback.
