Spawn Glider
by uOrb
Inside a spawn area set by the server, Spawn Glider gives players elytra-style flight, and the boosting rockets sit in the final hotbar slot only for the length of the glide.
What it does
When a player enters a spawn area set by the server, the mod switches on automatic gliding inside that region, similar to an elytra. Rockets in the last hotbar slot give a short boost, and the server controls how many rockets are given and how long a flight lasts. An optional glowing effect can be shown while gliding.
The rocket slot is locked, so a player cannot move, drop or transfer the boost items. The original hotbar item comes back once the glide session ends, and the server handles all logic and session cleanup. Fabric API is required. Players join without it, since only the server has to run the mod. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
Files exist for Fabric with game version 26.1.2 only, the latest being 1.0.0 from 2026-06-17, and the mod was first published on that date.
Key features
Automatic gliding in a region
Gliding starts on its own inside a region the server defines, without the player equipping an elytra.
Configurable boost rockets
The number of rockets and the flight duration are set in the configuration, and rockets sit in the last hotbar slot.
Locked rocket slot
The boost slot cannot be moved, dropped or transferred, so the boost items stay in place during a glide.
Session restore
The original hotbar item is returned after each glide session, and optional glowing effects can be turned on.

Use cases
Spawn flight zones
A server can mark its spawn as a place where players glide between landmarks or fly over the terrain.
Adventure maps
Map makers can use the region to offer a short flight section without giving out elytra.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want to offer short gliding sections in a defined area, and map makers building adventure maps on Fabric 26.1.2.
