Spawn Animations Compats is a datapack that adds compatibility between Spawn Animations and more than 50 other mods.

What it does

The datapack extends the spawn animation effects of Spawn Animations to mobs, biomes and structures added by a long list of other mods. Without it, those added creatures would not get the animated arrival that Spawn Animations applies to vanilla mobs.

The mod is a server-side data pack, so it can be placed on a world or server without installing it on every client. Spawn Animations is required and must be installed alongside it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, across 34 release versions, 1.17 – 26.3, with snapshot builds also published.

Only the server needs the mod: players join a server that runs it without installing anything. The license is a custom one, and the source code and issue tracker are publicly linked. First published on 2025-02-13 and last updated on 2026-10-03.
