Spatial Tools Compatible

by OktawiazRivi

Spatial Tools Compatible is a Forge utility for copying, cutting, previewing, rotating, flipping and pasting whole builds in the world.

ForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1 – 1.20.6

What it does

A player selects two corners to capture a structure, then right-clicks to cut it out of the world. The captured build is stored and can be pasted at another location, keeping the shape and important details of the original. The copy-based approach leaves the original structure intact until a player chooses to remove it. Saved structures can be reused or shared with other players as blueprints.

The tool is aimed at relocating a base, duplicating a machine setup or adjusting a complex modded structure. It works as a standalone structure tool and is especially useful in technical modpacks, where ordinary copy-paste often fails. Support is built in for several technical and storage mods, and optional integrations extend what gets preserved.

The mod is published for Forge and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files exist for six game versions, 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, with 1.12.4 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. It is released under the MIT License and is open source.

Key features

  1. Move and copy builds

Structures can be moved or copied to new locations, with rotation and flipping applied to the captured build.

  2. Preview before pasting

A structure can be previewed before it is pasted, so its placement is checked before any blocks are changed.

  3. Machine and cable data

Saved data includes machine settings, inventories, cable connections and machine upgrades, so pasted machines come back configured.

  4. Reusable blueprints

Captured structures are saved as reusable blueprints that can be shared with other players.
