SneakSprint Toggle lets players switch sneaking and sprinting on and off with a key press, so the keys do not have to be held down.

What it does

Holding sneak or sprint for long stretches is tiring on a controller or a cramped keyboard. SneakSprint Toggle turns each action into a switch: one press starts it and the next press stops it. The default keys are Numpad 7 for sprint and Numpad 8 for sneak, and both can be rebound in the controls menu.

The mod is a client mod, so only the player's own game needs it and a server can run without it. Files exist for Fabric and Quilt across 24 release versions. It requires Fabric API and can use Cloth Config API and Mod Menu for its settings screen, which lets the toggles be set manually. The code is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license and is open source.
