Smootheez Config Lib

Smootheez Config Lib is a config library mod for Fabric. Mod authors use it to manage configuration files without writing the loading, saving and boilerplate code each time. It creates the config file from the mod ID, so the file name matches the mod it belongs to, and it can generate a config screen automatically when a mod opts in.

The library is built to simplify configuration handling in Minecraft modding, with a simple interface that removes repetitive setup. The author developed it mainly for their own mods and made it freely available for public use. The config screen depends on ModMenu, so that mod must be installed for the screen to appear. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

Files are published for Fabric only, across 15 release versions 1.20.1 – 1.21.8, with 0.2.2-1.20.2 as the latest Fabric file for 1.20.2. The code is open source under the MIT License. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly on GitHub, where bug reports and feature requests can be submitted.
