Smooth Creeper changes creeper explosions so that blocks they destroy can drop their Silk Touch versions, which helps patch up craters early in a world.

What it does

Creeper explosions in a world with the mod apply Silk Touch drops to the blocks they break, so the terrain they dig out returns usable material. The effect is handled by a gamerule named mobExplosionDropDecay, which is set to false by default, so the drops are on from the start. Smooth Creeper is server-side only and needs Fabric API, so only the server runs it and players join without installing anything. It is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric across 10 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3.
