Smart Observer
Smart Observer adds a redstone block that detects a chosen block placed in front of it, with a togglable always mode.
What it does
The mod adds a new observer variant that watches the block in front of it and sends a redstone pulse when that block changes. A player picks which block type the device should detect, so it reacts only to that block rather than to every update. A togglable always mode makes the device emit a long redstone signal while the block in front stays the same.
