Small Items Mod
by FluffyCat
Small Items Mod lets players change how large held items look in the hand, including scale, height and depth, for the Fabric loader.
What it does
Held items can be resized and repositioned through a set of adjustments, covering the hand and first-person view. Sliders cover size, height and depth, and a live preview shows each change while it is being edited, so the result can be checked before settling on values.
Settings can be reached through an optional Mod Menu config screen, where every adjustment is set with sliders. The mod still works with its default values if nothing is changed. Small Items Mod is client-side only, so players can join multiplayer servers without any server-side install, and it works with texture packs and shaders. The mod is released under the Apache License 2.0 and its source code is public. Builds exist for 1.21.8 – 26.3, and the latest file is for 26.3.

Use cases
Smaller items in PvP
Players who want held weapons or tools to sit lower and smaller in the view can scale them down during combat.
Texture pack and shader use
Because the changes are made on the client, the look of held items can be tuned alongside a resource pack or shader.
Who it’s for: Players who want to adjust how held items look and servers that allow client-side mods. Only the client needs Small Items Mod, so server owners do not have to install it.
