Silk Touch Mob Spawners

Silk Touch Mob Spawners lets a player break a mob spawner with Silk Touch and keep it as an item that still spawns its mob when placed elsewhere.
What it does
A spawner broken with a Silk Touch tool drops as an item that keeps the mob inside. Placing that item somewhere else produces a working spawner for the same mob, so a farm can be built in any part of the world. The author describes the mod as beta and asks players to report bugs in the comments.
Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing anything. It is published for Forge 1.12.2 as a single file, 1.0, dated 2024-02-14, and is not open source; the code is covered by All rights reserved.
