Show Me The Time
by Black-Cat
Show Me The Time is a Fabric utility that shows the current Minecraft day and the real-world time on the HUD while a player is in game.
What it does
The overlay displays the in-game day together with the real-world clock. Its scale can be set from 0 to 5 times the default size, using decimal values, and its padding from 0 to 100 pixels using whole numbers. Players choose between a 12-hour and a 24-hour clock, and pick one of six fixed screen positions for the display.
The mod is configured through sub-commands, so no separate settings screen is needed. Because it is purely client-side, the server does not need to run it and players can join a server without installing anything. Builds cover 1.21.7 – 1.21.10, and the latest file, 1.0.0+1.21.7 for 1.21.10, was published on 2025-11-17.
The project began under the name What Time, which was already taken, so the mod was renamed. The MIT License covers the code, but the project is not open source.
Key features
Day and real-world time
The HUD shows the current in-game day beside the real-world clock, updated as the game runs.
Twelve or twenty-four hour clock
The clock can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour format, chosen in the configuration.
Six screen positions
The overlay can be placed at one of six fixed positions on screen, using x and y paddings to adjust its offset.
Adjustable scale and paddings
Scale accepts floating-point values from 0 to 5, and paddings accept whole numbers from 0 to 100.
Sub-command configuration
Settings are changed through self-explanatory sub-commands instead of a separate options screen.

Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Tracking days on a survival world
Players who want the day count visible without opening the inventory can keep the overlay in a corner of the screen.
Who it’s for: Players who want the in-game day and real-world time on screen at all times, on single-player worlds or multiplayer servers, since the mod works on the client alone.
How it compares
Info HUD is client-side only, open source under the MIT License and published for 1.21.7 – 1.21.10, so it covers the same versions. CoordDisplay is also client-side only and open source under the MIT License, but its files target 1.21.1 – 1.21.4 and it shows coordinates rather than time. DayCounter is client-side only, under the MIT License but not open source, with files for 1.21.1 only.

What the author says
It was originally planned to be named "What Time Is It?", but I just found out this name is already taken, so here we are. Anyways, this displays the current Minecraft time (not real world time) of the day just because.
