Saturation Plus
by MrKirbychu
Saturation Plus lifts the rule that caps saturation at the player's current hunger level, so saturation can build past the traditional limit of 20.
What it does
Vanilla Minecraft holds saturation to the hunger level, which never exceeds 20. Saturation Plus removes that restriction, so a player with hunger level 6 can still hold seven more points of saturation. Food that restores large amounts of saturation keeps its full value instead of being cut off at the cap, which matters for food mods that depend on high saturation.
The mod is client and server, and it has to be installed on both sides for the change to work as intended. Builds cover 1.14.4 – 26.3 across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with the latest Fabric file targeting 26.3. Its license is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, and the source is not open source. Earlier releases made saturation visible only through a companion like AppleSkin, while later releases show saturation and exhaustion as indicators beside the hunger bar.
Key features
Uncapped saturation
Saturation can accumulate past the hunger level and past 20, so food keeps its full saturation value.
Saturation indicators
Newer releases show saturation and exhaustion as visual indicators beside the hunger bar.
Saturation query command
A getSaturation command reports the player's current saturation level.
Quality-of-life changes
Several small improvements to how saturation is handled are included alongside the uncapped behavior.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players and modpack makers who use high-saturation food, and server owners who want saturation to work without the vanilla cap.
How it compares
AppleSkin is a client or server optional mod under The Unlicense, open source and published for 1.10.2 – 26.3 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and it displays saturation without changing the cap. No Hunger is a client and server mod under the MIT License, not open source, for 1.17 – 1.21 on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and it removes hunger rather than uncapping saturation. Sustenance is server-side only, not open source, and runs on Fabric for 1.18 – 26.2.

What the author says
Traditionally, saturation cannot exceed the player's hunger level, which caps out as 20. For mod versions 1.0-1.2, saturation can be made visible through mods such as AppleSkin, or queried through the added command /getSaturation. For 1.3+, saturation and exhaustion are available as visual indicators beside the…
