Saro´s Interactive Blocks
by Sarocesch
Saro's Interactive Blocks lets players attach server commands to blocks, so that a right-click, left-click, touch or redstone signal runs a chosen command.
What it does
Each block action is tied to one of four triggers: a right-click, a left-click, a player walking over the block, or a redstone signal reaching it. Players set these up in-game with a short command, and the action is then stored for that block. The mod includes a blockaction command to create, delete and inspect interactions, and the info subcommand reports the action on the block a player is looking at.
Because the commands run on the server, the interactions can be used for adventure maps, spawn hubs, shops and other places where a block should do something when touched. Only the server needs it, and players join without installing anything. Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 22 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Right-click action
Runs a set command when the player right-clicks the block, such as opening a menu or starting an event.
Left-click action
Runs a set command when the player left-clicks the block, which can be used for hits or other reactions.
Touch action
Runs a set command when a player walks over the block, useful for triggers on floors and pressure areas.
Redstone action
Runs a set command when a redstone signal reaches the block, so circuits can drive custom behavior.
Command-based setup
Players configure each block with simple in-game commands, without editing data files or a separate configuration screen.
