Sal_fish's Attribute Lib
by sal-fish
Sal_fish's Attribute Lib is a Forge library for 1.20.1 that lets modpack creators and players set vanilla entity attributes with fine control.
What it does
Attributes from the vanilla attribute system can be changed per entity type, so pack authors set default values that other mods then modify. Shared Attributes are applied to living entities as they are added to the world. The library also includes a Command Memory System that keeps the last 50 chat commands typed, saved to a command history file in the game directory, so the history survives world changes and a full exit from the game.
The library covers movement, reach and size values: step height, safe fall distance, creative flight, player block and entity interaction range, and player block break speed. Attribute values are bounded only by Java integer limits, which lets a pack tune movement and reach without adding dozens of separate modifiers. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The license is the MIT License, and the code is not open source. Only the Forge 1.20.1 build is published, at version 1.1.0, and TarotCardsPlus requires it.
Key features
Entity attribute control
Set values on vanilla attributes for living entities, including visual size and hitbox scale.
Player-only reach and movement
Interaction ranges, block break speed and flight are tuned for players alone, which keeps balance changes away from mobs.
Command history across sessions
The last 50 chat commands are stored in order and recalled with the arrow keys on the chat screen, as in vanilla.
Works without setup
The library needs no extra configuration and works as soon as it is installed.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.

Use cases
Modpack balancing
Pack makers can adjust reach, step height and fall distance in one place instead of editing several mods.
Adventure and creative maps
Creative flight and altered interaction range can be enabled for players while other game modes keep their defaults.
Who it’s for: Modpack creators who want to tune entity and player attributes, and players who repeat chat commands often.
