Roses restores the classic rose and other flowers from older Minecraft versions, without replacing the newer flower types.

What it does

The mod brings back classic roses, which vanilla no longer generates, alongside other classic flowers. Players can find them in the world, pot them, and craft rose bushes into cyan rose bushes through a 2x2 crafting table recipe. Rose bushes drop roses when broken, and bees pollinate the restored flowers the way they do vanilla blooms.

Roses is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later. It requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and its files target Fabric and Quilt for game versions 1.19.3 – 26.1.2, with the latest 5.0+26.1 file for 26.1.2 dated 2026-06-04. Because the environment is client and server, both the server and every player need the mod installed.
