RevivalPVP

by bownux

RevivalPVP lets players take part in one-on-one duels across servers, with queues, kits, ranked play and a live match list inside the game.

FabricClient-side onlyCustom license1.21.4 – 26.1.2

What it does

Duels are fought between two players in arenas, grouped by nine kits: Sword, Archer, Crossbow, Mace, Crystal and Spear among them. Players can join a ranked or an unranked queue, and before each duel both players vote on a map. Arenas rotate, so the same map does not repeat every time. Ranked results feed a score based on OpenSkill, and per-kit rankings and match history are kept for each player.

The mod is a Fabric client mod that needs Fabric API. It is client-side only, so players install it and servers do not have to run anything extra for basic use. Players who want a fuller setup can add the optional companion plugin RevivalPVPServerMod, which lets server admins expose PvP areas that players can use. Players send friend duel invites that skip the queue, and the duel transfers to both players when the invite is accepted. Both players need RevivalPVP installed for the duel to work. Files for Fabric cover 1.21.4 – 26.1.2 across 11 release versions, and the latest file targets 26.1.2.

Sign-in for the in-game web hub uses a six-character code generated in the mod, and sign-in works with a Minecraft account through the standard Mojang session protocol, with the same trust model used when joining an online server. The license is custom and the code is not open source.

Key features

  1. Cross-server 1v1 duels

Players fight one-on-one duels against opponents on other servers, inside a clean in-game hub.

  2. Ranked and unranked queues

Two queues let players choose between scored matches and casual fights, with ranked results scored by OpenSkill.

  3. Spectating and live matches

A Live Matches list shows ongoing duels, and a spectator mode lets players watch them as they happen.

  4. Friends, history and rankings

Friends can send duel invites that skip the queue, and match history plus per-kit leaderboards record past fights.
