Recipe Helper
by wzz
Recipe Helper is a Forge and NeoForge management tool that lets server operators create, edit and delete crafting recipes through a graphical editor while the game is running.
What it does
Recipe editing happens in a visual GUI opened from an in-game command, so recipe creation, modification and removal no longer rely on typed command syntax. Recipes are stored in the standard JSON datapack format rather than the older custom format, and they can be exported as code. A reload command, run from the server console or by an operator, applies changes to the datapack, and the subcommands require permission level 2, the default operator privilege.
The mod ships with built-in layout IDs for the recipe types it covers, including rectangular grids from 1x1 up to 11x11, brewing, stonecutting, smithing, cooking, cutting, compacting and filling. Integrations with several other catalog mods are listed by the author, and more are planned for future updates. The earlier command-based system was replaced by the rewrite, and its commands remain documented only for reference.
Only the server needs the mod: players may leave it out, or install it for extra features. The mod is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is open source, with source code publicly available. Files exist for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with Forge 2.3 for 1.20.1 and NeoForge 2.2fix for 1.21.1 as the latest builds.
