Re-Avaritia: Curio Infinity Elytra Patch

by Ainz_Bloodfallen

Re-Avaritia: Curio Infinity Elytra Patch lets Re-Avaritia's infinity elytra work correctly from a Curios back slot.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

The patch makes the infinity elytra from Re-Avaritia function when it is worn in a Curios back slot instead of the vanilla chestplate slot. It requires Curios API and Re:Avaritia, and it runs on both client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest build from 2026-07-26.

Key features

  1. Curios back slot support

The infinity elytra from Re-Avaritia works from a Curios back slot, so players keep their chest slot free.

  2. Toggle boosting effect

The boosting effect of the infinity elytra can be switched on and off while the elytra is in use.

  3. Sneak to disengage boost

Holding sneak turns off the boosting effect of the infinity elytra until the player releases the key.

How it compares

Full comparison

Disable Elytra Boosting is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 that runs on client and server under All rights reserved, so it covers a wider range of versions but does not add Curios support. Avaritia Tweak is open source under the MIT License and supports Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, so it changes the same mod family in a different way.

What the author says

A patch for Re-Avaritia's infinity elytra to work correctly with Curios back slot. I also wrote in a toggle for the boosting effect. You can now hold "sneak" to disengage the boosting effect. This is for Re-Avaritia version 1.3.9.8. This will cause a crash if you use a different version.
