Raw Milk
Raw Milk changes how cow and goat milk behaves: milk stays unprocessed and carries a Hunger effect until players cook it into a safe drink.
What it does
Milk from cows and goats is raw by default, and drinking it gives the Hunger status effect for 45 seconds, a longer debuff than the 15-second Speed boost from the mod's chocolate milk. Raw milk still clears other status effects, so it is a trade-off rather than a plain penalty. Cooking milk turns it into pasteurized milk, which is safe to drink and carries no Hunger debuff.
The mod also adds chocolate milk, made by combining milk with cocoa beans, and goats as a second source of raw milk. Raw milk can be used to feed baby cows and goats, which helps them grow faster, in the same way wheat does. Raw Milk runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.16.5 and 1.21.1, and is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which is not open source.
Baker's Oven requires this mod, so it is a dependency for packs that use that food content. The mod's configuration file controls the stack size of milk buckets, for example half the usual amount, and it also adjusts the duration of each status effect. The Fabric and Forge builds each place their config file in the game's config folder.

To avoid this, cook your raw milk to transform it into pasteurized milk. Pasteurized milk is safe to drink and free of the…
