by KiteJs

RarityGlow gives dropped items a colored glow that matches their rarity, with an optional particle beam on top.

What it does

Dropped items on the ground are outlined in a color that reflects their rarity tier, so valuable loot stands out at a distance. An optional particle beam can be added above the glow. Colors and effects are set in the Mod Menu config screen, which requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. Files cover 1.21.11 – 26.3 for Fabric and NeoForge, released under the MIT License as open source.

Key features

  1. Rarity-based outlines

Dropped items receive a glowing outline whose color depends on the rarity of the item.

  2. Optional particle beam

A particle beam can rise from glowing drops, and it can be switched off for a plainer look.

  3. Configurable colors

Colors and effects are adjusted on the config screen opened through Mod Menu.
