Ranky
by SK4N
Ranky lets server staff hand out titles through a chest-based menu, with titles earned by completing advancements and managed from the server side.
What it does
Titles are assigned and selected through a GUI built from chest-style inventory screens. A title can be earned by completing a chosen advancement, so a player who reaches the target gains access to it. Titles are defined in JSON, and the server can reload the config to update titles without restarting. Pagination handles long title lists, so large sets stay usable inside the menu.
Ranky runs on the server only, so players join without installing anything. It requires LuckPerms, which stores the permission data that the titles rely on, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. Files target Fabric for 1.21.1, with the latest build, 1.6.0+1.21.1, published on 2025-04-06 after a first release on 2025-03-25.
Key features
Advancement-based titles
Titles can be tied to advancement IDs such as minecraft:story/mine_diamond, so earning an achievement opens its title.
Chest-based title menu
Players open a chest-style screen to browse titles, with a GUI button that can show a Minecraft item ID for each entry.
Custom title display
Each title carries its own display name, and a title can be shown with the selected player's name in the chat text.
Reload without restart
The ranky reload command applies changes to the title set while the server keeps running.

Use cases
Reward milestones
A server can pair titles with progression milestones such as finding a Nether fortress or defeating the Ender Dragon, so reaching those points grants a visible rank.
Large title sets
Communities with many titles can split them across pages in the menu, keeping the list readable for players.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want a menu-based title system tied to advancements and who already run LuckPerms. Players on the server need no installation.
How it compares

Player Title for Fabric is server-side only, open source under the MIT License, and covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.4, which reaches further back in versions than Ranky.
