Rainbows & Radium adds new ores, bombs, barrels, totems and foods for Fabric and Quilt, with a second set of storage and combat content across the 1.21 line.
What it does
The mod introduces Polychromite-Infused Sand and Polychromite Ore, which spawn in deserts, Deepsteel Ore in the Nether, and Radium Ore in underground caves. Deepslate Radium Ore is placed in caves. Most Polychromium items are made from materials found in a Quarry, a new structure that spawns about as often as Desert Temples, and its loot chests and brushable Suspicious Sand can contain the Polychromium Upgrade Smithing Template, which is used at a Smithing Table together with other new items to upgrade gear.
Storage content includes 128-slot barrels, 84-slot Uranium Barrels that fit more items into one block space, and a modular chest-locking system. Combat and utility content covers customizable bombs, including Deepsteel Bombs that ignore armor and terrain, new offensive and defensive status effects, and Polychromium Totems that work as multi-use totems. Ender Pearls can be enchanted with Infinity, and Polychromite Pearls only need one enchantment.
Installation is the same on Fabric and Quilt. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover 10 release versions, and the latest file for both loaders is 1.3.0-1.21.11 for 1.21.11, published 2026-01-05. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
