Radiated Infection
by klinok890
Radiated Infection adds an infection level that rises when players hit monsters, along with zombie types, protective items and a bunker structure that spawns only these zombies.
What it does
Hitting monsters raises the player's infection radiation level, which slowly increases over time and can grow faster and stronger at higher levels. Once the infection radiation level climbs above 97 percent, the player starts to suffer debuffs like poison and mining fatigue, along with direct damage. A HUD index shows the current level, and only reducing the infection level clears it. The mod adds a Chemical Station and a new crafting machine, which require a fixed set of items in specific slots. Ten or more new recipes cover armor that reduces damage and radiation, and debuff protection. A syringe used on a player can draw blood into it.
The mod is built around three zombie types found only in its new bunker structure: Toxic Zombie, Radiated Zombie, Scientist Zombie, Prisoner Zombie and Worker Zombie. Some drop slimes after death, some grant regeneration or speed and strength when attacked, and some carry high armor and health. Infected Slime Vaccine, Blaze Powder Morphine and Honey Bottle Adrenaline serve as consumables against the infection. Multiplayer is supported, and the mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge only, across 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.4 and 1.20.1, with 1.5.4 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.

If you have high level of infection from radiation, it will be slowly increasing when you have 70% and faster when 85% more. Also, you will get…
