Stress is an invisible value tracked for each player. It grows in dark places and after eating rotten flesh or spider eye, and a player can rise or fall in stress through daily play. Some actions reduce it, such as fishing for XP, sleeping, mining rare ores like diamonds and emeralds, or eating healing items such as golden apples and carrots. The author warns that a player who lets stress build up may be affected in unpleasant ways, and that careful use of these methods is needed to keep it down.

Three kinds of stress pill are added. Neutral pills reduce stress with a little side effect, good pills reduce stress every time they are used, and bad pills add stress every time they are used. The mod also adds recipes for these pills and a new mob. Because the mod runs on client and server, the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across five release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.4, with 1.4.2 as the latest build for each loader. The code is covered by All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source, and the author permits free use in videos, modpacks and servers, with a link back to the Modrinth page requested.
