QuietFrame
QuietFrame runs only on the client and works on Fabric, changing Minecraft performance settings as the game runs.
What it does
Rather than applying one fixed preset, QuietFrame watches performance conditions during play and moves between its internal profiles whenever a different one suits the moment. The aim of the runtime tuning is smoother frame pacing, judged from FPS and frame time readings taken while the game runs.
Only the client runs the mod, so servers do not need it and players join without installing it. Fabric API is required and must be installed alongside QuietFrame. The mod is published for Fabric only, in a single game version, 26.1.2, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
Testing covered Minecraft 26.1.2 with Fabric Loader 0.19.2, alongside Fabric API on Java 25. QuietFrame is listed under the Optimization category and also appears under Utility. Source code and an issue tracker are linked from the project page.
Key features
Adaptive performance profiles
Internal profiles are chosen automatically based on the conditions the mod observes during play.
Runtime tuning
Settings are adjusted while the game runs, using FPS and frame time as the inputs for each change.
Condition monitoring
The mod keeps watching performance during a session and changes profile when the readings call for it.
Client-only operation
Everything happens on the player's side, so a server does not have to run the mod to make it work.

Who it’s for: Players on Minecraft 26.1.2 with Fabric who want their client to adjust performance settings during play, instead of keeping one manual preset.
