Quick menu Renewed gives players a radial-style menu of shortcuts that opens with a key press, and a layout editor for arranging the buttons.
What it does
The menu is a renewed fork of the original Quick menu, which was abandoned. The reconstruction keeps the original idea of opening a grid of buttons from the G key, and rebuilds the code without heavy dependencies such as owo-lib. Opening the menu and editing its layout both happen on the client, so the mod is client-side only and the server does not need it.
Each button in the menu can open a folder of further buttons. Players navigate folders by clicking a folder icon and go back with the back control, or jump straight to the top level by clicking the Root breadcrumb list. The number of buttons per row can be changed. The mod requires Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), and it uses Mod Menu as an optional dependency for its settings screen.
The project is published for Fabric only, for game versions 1.21.11 – 26.3 across six release versions. The latest file is 2.3.0 for 26.3, dated 2026-09-17. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Open menu with G
The default key G opens the menu, which shows the configured buttons on screen until it is closed.
Edit mode
An edit mode lets players change the menu, using an E key pencil icon to enter it and an F key magnifying glass icon to inspect entries.
Folders and breadcrumbs
Buttons can group into folders, with a Root breadcrumb list showing the path back to the top level.
Layout export and import
In edit mode, the Export copy button puts the layout on the clipboard, and the Import button loads a layout from the clipboard in a selectable mode.

How it compares
Clipboard is a Fabric client mod under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, built for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, so it covers older game versions than Quick menu Renewed. Quick Right Click Options is also client-side only and open source under the MIT License, but it is limited to 1.21.1 – 1.21.6 and works through right-click options rather than a key-opened grid. Block Finder (X-Ray) is a different kind of tool with a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license, so it is not open source and it runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
