Queen Cats & Dogs turns the tamed cats, wolves, rabbits and cows of survival worlds into queen and princess variants, using a set of golden food items.
What it does
Queen Cats & Dogs is an unofficial port of a Minecraft Bedrock add-on known as Queen Cats. It adds eight new entities, among them Queen Cats, Queen Dogs, Queen Bunnies and Queen Cows, which are obtained with a Kemomimi Potion or spawned with spawn eggs. Breeding Wolves or Rabbits with the queen variants yields queens and princesses, and princesses grow faster than their normal counterparts.
Four new items support the system. Golden Fish turns normal cats into Queen Cats and heals them, Golden Bone turns tamed wolves into Queen Dogs, and Golden Wheat turns rabbits into Queen Bunnies. The Kemomimi Potion is crafted from the three golden items, and the Golden Fish can be eaten like a Golden Apple, which was disabled in later versions. Wearing a Vanilla Chestplate and using Shift + Right Click opens an inventory for the companion, and dyes in several colors change its appearance. Milking a queen cow works with a bucket or bowl, depending on the variant.
Queen Cats & Dogs is published for Fabric and Forge, for the game versions 1.18.2 – 1.20.2. Both Geckolib and MidnightLib are required dependencies. Installation covers the server and each player's game. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source.
