Purpir ElytraSwap lets a player move an equipped Elytra to the chest slot, or a chestplate back to the Elytra, with one key press.
What it does
Swapping normally means opening the inventory and moving items by hand between the chest slot and the Elytra slot. This Fabric mod replaces that with a keybind: wearing an Elytra and pressing the key equips a chestplate, and wearing a chestplate with an empty chest slot equips the Elytra instead. Players who switch often between flight and armor protection during survival, PvP or exploration can change setups without leaving the game view.
The mod is a small client-side addition that adds no new items, blocks or complicated mechanics. It needs nothing else installed, and it only changes the local client, so a server does not have to run it and players join without installing anything on the server side. Files are published for Fabric across nine release versions, 1.21.8 – 26.3, and the code is released under the MIT License, though it is not open source.
