ElytraOverlay
by kskeei
Players who swap between chestplate and Elytra can use ElytraOverlay, a small client-side Fabric HUD that shows a small Elytra icon below the crosshair while one is worn.
What it does
ElytraOverlay draws an unobtrusive Elytra icon just under the crosshair whenever an Elytra is equipped, so the wearer can see at a glance which chestplate is on. The icon is shown only while an Elytra is worn and disappears otherwise. The mod runs on the Fabric loader for Minecraft 1.21.11 only, under All rights reserved, and it is not open source. Only the player's own client needs it; servers run without it, and it works alongside other client-side mods.
Key features
Elytra icon below the crosshair
A small icon sits under the crosshair while an Elytra is worn, so the equipped chestplate can be confirmed without opening the inventory.
Shown only when needed
The overlay appears only while an Elytra is equipped and stays hidden for other chestplates.
Minimal and light
The overlay is kept small and out of the way, with a negligible effect on performance.
