ProjectE: EMC for L_Ender's Cataclysm
by KURONAMI
ProjectE: EMC for L_Ender's Cataclysm is an add-on that lets ProjectE assign EMC values to the boss loot, dungeon metals and ruin blocks of L_Ender's Cataclysm.
What it does
ProjectE learns values by following recipes, and items that only drop from fights would otherwise stay worthless. This add-on hand-tunes values for Cataclysm materials where no recipe exists, so ProjectE can derive the rest from them. Boss materials are priced for the fight that yields them, and the summon key is valued against the loot it produces, with the loot yield checked numerically across eight bosses. Metals follow the host's progression, with black steel, ancient metal, ignitium, witherite, cursium and enderite each priced above the tier before it.
The conversion values load from a file registered at ProjectE startup, cataclysm:pe custom conversions/cataclysm default.json, and the log shows which values exist. Nuggets, blocks and ingots derive exactly from one another, with multiples of nine making round trips lossless. Because the Amethyst Altar runs on a custom recipe type that ProjectE cannot read, the add-on sets its single conversion, amethyst crab meat, by hand as a one-to-one swap, and the altar uses up only the catalyst that goes in. Tools, weapons, armour and curios receive EMC the same way vanilla items do, and items with an acquisition path such as the khopesh or the fractal are deliberately not valued by creation.
The add-on ships only host assets' id strings and numbers and stays independent of how the host packages content. It was verified against Cataclysm 3.33 on NeoForge 1.21.1 and 3.31 on Forge 1.20.1, the current releases. It requires L_Ender's Cataclysm, and the server needs it installed; EMC is a creative-only currency in this setup.
Key features
Boss material values
Materials from Cataclysm bosses carry EMC values tied to the fights that produce them.
Tiered metal pricing
Dungeon metals from black steel through enderite are priced in ascending order, following the host's progression.
Lossless block conversion
Nuggets, ingots and blocks convert exactly, and multiples of nine round-trip without loss.
Explicit altar conversion
The Amethyst Altar's crab meat conversion is defined directly, since ProjectE cannot read the altar's recipe type.

What the author says
Give L_Ender's Cataclysm materials hand-tuned EMC values so its boss loot and dungeon metals work with ProjectE's transmutation system. Cataclysm is all about bosses, dungeons and ruins, and almost none of its rewards are craftable. ProjectE learns values by following recipes, so items that only drop from fights stay…
