Project Red Exploration
by MrTJP
Project Red Exploration adds ores, structures, tools and decorative blocks to the Project Red collection, with world generation kept in a separate module.
What it does
The module set covers world generation for ores and structures, along with useful tools and decorative blocks. Machines, frames, motors and electricity generation sit in the wider Project Red collection, which aims at a much improved redstone circuitry with wiring, logic gates and integrated circuits. Project Red Exploration is one part of that collection and is heavily inspired by Red Power by Eloraam.
Three libraries must be present: CB Multipart, CodeChicken Lib and Project Red Core. Project Red Core is the shared common library used by the other modules, while CodeChicken Lib and CB Multipart provide the underlying systems. The mod does not add much on its own without them. It is built for Forge and NeoForge, on client and server, and is open source under the MIT License. Files cover 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.20.4 and 1.21.1, with the latest Forge file at 4.21.0 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge file at 4.23.0 for 1.21.1.
Key features
World generation
Ores and structures are added to newly generated terrain, so exploration turns up materials not found in vanilla worlds.
Useful tools
Tools join the module's content, giving players items to use once they find the new resources.
Decorative blocks
Decorative blocks extend the building palette and pair with the collection's lighting and wiring parts.
Exploration module
The module sits inside the Project Red collection, so its content shares the collection's common library and conventions.
