Potions For More Potion Effects adds a set of brewable potions with new effects, and it needs More Potion Effects to run on NeoForge 1.21.1.
What it does
The mod brings in potions that each have a brewing recipe of their own, adding variety to brewing. The potions are built on top of More Potion Effects, which is required, so that mod must be installed next to this one.
Both sides need the mod: the client and the server must each have it, and players on a server that runs it install it too. The license is GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the source code is open source with a public issue tracker. Files exist only for 1.21.1 on NeoForge, with the 0.2.0-B1 beta build as the latest, published 2026-08-02. The first release came on 2026-07-24, and the author notes that the mod is in early development, so more potions are planned for later versions.
Key features
Sweet and disgusting potions
Two potions with opposite flavors, named Sweet Potion and Disgusting Potion, each with its own effect.
Metal-based potions
Copper-Rich Potion and Iron-Rich Potion are brewed as separate potions, with their own effects.
Life and shield potions
Static Life Potion and Solid Shield Potion cover defensive effects, alongside Injury Limitation Potion.
Immortal Potion
A potion listed alongside the others, which extends the set of brewed effects beyond the common ones.
